FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to common questions about the assessment, the score, and your data.

Is this financial advice?

No. The assessment is educational and informational only. It does not provide individualized investment, tax, legal, or insurance advice.

How is the score calculated?

The score uses deterministic rule-based scoring across five categories — Tax Planning, Future Income & Retirement Planning, Asset Management, Insurance & Protection, and Legacy & Estate Planning. Each question in the assessment maps to a fixed point value, so the same answers always produce the same score.

Is the score out of 100?

Yes. Tax Planning is worth up to 20 points, Future Income & Retirement Planning up to 25, Asset Management up to 25, Insurance & Protection up to 15, and Legacy & Estate Planning up to 15 — totaling 100.

Is this only for retirement?

No. The assessment adapts based on your life stage. Younger users receive wealth-building and financial-foundation questions. Pre-retirees and retirees receive more retirement-focused questions such as withdrawal strategy, longevity, and inflation.

Does a higher net worth automatically mean a higher score?

No. The amount of investable assets is used as context, not as a scoring input. Someone with a very high asset amount and disorganized planning can score lower than someone with modest assets and coordinated planning.

Does owning more financial products increase my score?

No. The assessment evaluates planning preparedness — awareness, coordination, diversification, liquidity, and documentation — not product ownership.

Is my information saved?

You can complete the assessment and view your score without providing contact information. If you choose to submit your contact information after seeing your results — either to request a plan review or to schedule a Discovery Meeting — your contact information and assessment responses will be stored together so the planning team can respond to your request.

What information should I not enter?

Please do not enter Social Security numbers, passwords, account numbers, tax identification numbers, or login credentials. The assessment does not need this information.

Is my information secure?

The application uses reasonable technical safeguards such as secure transmission, protected backend access, server-side validation, and restricted administrative access. No online system can be described as absolutely secure, so please avoid entering highly sensitive information.

What happens after I get my score?

You can simply review your score and educational results, or — if you would like — optionally request a plan review or schedule a Discovery Meeting with the planning team. There is no obligation to take a next step.
